Just over a third (37%) of trial participants detailed what they would have changed about their clinical trial experience. Changes were headed by a need for increased trial feedback, together with more information and communication in general.
Other changes included adopting a more patient-focused approach, encountering fewer medical issues/problems and a need for more flexible timing.

Note that those who regarded themselves as having a 'poor' overall experience participating in a clinical trial were significantly more likely to feel that their perception of the pharmaceutical industry had worsened.
In contrast, those who had an excellent overall experience frequently had an improved perception.
