Dear Readers,
It has been a pleasure to see such a high standard of submissions for the Global Generics & Biosimilars Awards 2021 as we return to holding the awards in person this year, and I would like to congratulate each and every company responsible for the many impressive entries we have received.
With more submissions competing for our 14 prizes than ever before, entries across all categories have once again demonstrated the incredible breadth and depth of achievement across the entirety of the global generics, biosimilars and value added medicines industries.
This is at a time when the world remains unpredictable and companies continue to be subject to disruptions and obstacles that threaten to make their work more difficult than ever before – but also more essential than ever before, as the off-patent industry has risen to the challenge of meeting demand and supporting healthcare systems at a time of unprecedented crisis.
Firms that develop, manufacture and market generics, biosimilars and value added medicines – as well as API producers, supply-chain partners, and other key players in supporting these industries – have all shown their importance not only to the off-patent industry but to global healthcare as a whole. The Global Generics & Biosimilars Awards 2021 aims to recognize that value across the board.
Around 20 expert judges have helped to decide the winners, which has been a particularly challenging task this year given the wide variety of milestones that have been reached by firms from around the world. But all entrants and shortlisted nominees deserve to be applauded for their many and varied achievements.

Many congratulations to all the winners of the Global Generics & Biosimilars Awards 2021!

Executive Editor Generics Bulletin
Our commitment to awards entrants and attendees is bound up in the selection of judges who volunteer their time, experience, and consideration of the hundreds of entries to our various annual global awards.
The judges, invited from the generics and biosimilars industries, engage in the judging process independently, combining their industry knowledge to evaluate entries against the entry criteria.
Without judges’ depth of knowledge and passion for supporting the two industries, the Global Generics & Biosimilars Awards would not be possible. We take this opportunity to thank all our judges for their role in helping to ensure the integrity of the Global Generics & Biosimilars Awards.
